STTH
Story time...
So there I was, sitting in my garage, just about as stoned as I could be and I found myself reminiscing of the past hunting season, which btw was a good one!
I ended up thinking about the deer I missed over time and one picture on my phone of a bullet hole in a tree two inches from a perfect hit on a doe. Now, truth be told, I have not bow hunted in years, but I couldn't help thinking about the age old situation: arrow stuck through a branch with deer running off, and I said to myself, if that ever happened to me, I would cut above and below where the arrow was and make a pipe out of it.
Then the light bulb clicked.
I have crossbow bolts, I have scrap lumber, I have... time? So I got to work. Since the arrow is hollow, it could be a stem, all I would need to do is drill out the nock, or worse case, remove it. So I put the arrow on the lathe and drilled out the nock. Sweet, but what if I wanted to use the pipe with a carb. Just remove the tip... right? Well, no, BUT!!! I was able to to drill that end as well without messing up the threads, score!!
Now, I couldn't just leave it at that, no no no, I needed something... a pun, a reference, something... then it hit me, hard!. For a solid two days I couldn't stop thinking about this, so, I had to pull it off.
Personally, is it practical, no, is it cool, heck yea, would I one day smoke it, maybe.
Bonus points, can you guess the reference?
